Two reliable paths
Reviews arrive when background jobs pull them from Google on a schedule, and when Google pushes a notification that a review changed. Both paths enqueue work so the user interface stays responsive.
Near real time
Webhook-driven updates mean many new reviews appear within minutes, but exact timing depends on Google and on queue load. Never assume instant delivery; always use Sync if you are on a deadline.
What triggers a pull
Operators can manually sync a location. The system also runs broader schedules to catch anything missed. Force sync replaces the entire review list for that location while preserving drafts.
Working the list
Use filters for location, star rating, date span, reply status, and free-text search across the comment or reviewer name. Sort by created time, updated time, rating, or reviewer name depending on whether you triage newest issues or alphabetise a report.
