Preconditions
Rules run only when a review has no Google reply yet and no local draft. That prevents double responses.
Rating windows
Each rule defines inclusive min and max stars. A four-star review matches a three-to-four rule but not a one-to-two rule.
First match wins
The engine sorts active rules by their order field and stops on the first match. Put your safest, narrow rules above broad catch-alls.
No match
If nothing fits, the review simply waits for manual handling.
AI versus template outcomes
Template rules either create drafts or post immediately depending on automation mode. AI rules always queue GenerateDraftReply.
