How to edit your business information

Open the location editor

Pick a location from your list, then open its edit screen. You see the fields Google allows for that listing.

Fields you can maintain

Typical fields include display name, address, phone numbers, regular hours, special hours, website URL, and business categories. Use accurate data; Google may apply its own validation.

When you pick categories, use the search box. It is backed by Google data so you choose supported category names instead of guessing.

Saving changes

Press Save when you are finished. The app sends updates through the Google Business Profile API. Some changes may take time to appear on Maps.

Sync direction

Edits you make here aim to update Google. If Google later changes something externally, a refresh or sync brings the latest values back into BizProfile Manager.

Tip: Update holiday hours early so customers see the right times.
