How to connect your Google account

Before you start

Use a Google account that can manage the Business Profiles you care about. You stay inside your normal browser session; the app never sees your Google password.

Start the connection

Open the Google connection area from your account settings. Choose Connect or Sign in with Google when you are ready. Google shows exactly which access is requested.

What permission is requested

The app only asks for Google access that lets it manage business listings. It does not ask to read your email or your personal profile data. If Google lists the permission as business management, that matches how the product is built.

After you approve

The app stores tokens securely so background jobs can sync locations and reviews. You should see connection status turn positive within a minute. If something fails, try again on a stable network.

When the token expires

Google connections can expire over time. If sync pauses or you see a reconnect message, open the same settings screen and run Revalidate or reconnect using the button shown there. Until you fix it, new data may not pull in, but nothing is deleted from your BizProfile account.

Tip: Complete Google connection before you add locations so the discovery list is populated.
